In the journey of accompanying the crew, KPI Seaman always understands that Family is not only a support, but also the biggest motivation for the brothers to persevere in their profession. And when a natural disaster suddenly strikes, the worry of the people on the ship is not the storm in front of them, but the inability to contact their loved ones, the house/fields being submerged in water... When the storm and flood pass, the worries pile up: houses are in disarray, livelihoods are destroyed, the future is uncertain...
On December 3, 2025, with the cooperation of the ship owners, crew members, and employees of KPI Seaman and PCT, we visited and encouraged the families of the crew members who suffered heavy losses after the historic flood in Phu Yen. Witnessing the aftermath of the flood with our own eyes, holding the wrinkled and dry hands of the crew members' families, listening to them talk about their fear when the flood came and their worries when it passed... and feeling our hearts tighten. However, life still goes on. The roofs have begun to be repaired, the vegetable beds and fish ponds are being restored little by little.
“Mom and Dad are still healthy at home, I can work with peace of mind” – the simple message from Ms. Nguyen Thi Xoi to her child who is working on the Nexus ship is also the message from all relatives to the crew members working on the ship: “Rest assured, the home front is always strong and the company is always with you.”

Life is gradually reviving after the storm and flood, and we believe that trust is also being rebuilt through each time we stand together without counting, through the generosity of hearts that know how to share, and through each hug - each tight handshake that your relatives give us. Amidst the damage after the storm and flood, what remains and is brighter than ever is the humanity of the fishing profession. It is these things that help us firmly commit to the profession - for people - and for the good values that we are building together ❤️
